The Following Trash Cleanup has been completed by the South India Unit of the Rivers of the World (ROW) Foundation in collaboration with the joint Yamuna-Potomac partnership between the ROW Foundation, USA and the Alice Ferguson Foundation:

March 22 - World Water Day 2010 - Yamuna River Trash Cleanup by ROW Foundation
This Musi River Cleanup is designed to promote awareness and train the LOCAL communities and students to protect the Musi River from getting polluted.
The high enthusiasm and passionate participation of the volunteers is greatly appreciated by the ROW Foundation and the Hyderabad team. Ram Koduri and Pushpa Morolla made a number of Phone calls to US after the event and applauded the volunteers and local sponsors and other organizations who made this event a great success.

Note: All Blue Yamuna team members
are participating in the Yamuna Cleanup activities on their
personal time and contributing their personal funds. Not a single
volunteer of the Yamuna Foundation is receiving any compensation,
rather they are paying towards the cause. They are conducting the
activities in compliance with applicable regulations (US 18
U.S.C. ? 207 , 5 CFR ?2635, and others; India - IPC for Ethics)
in their respective countries. They are dedicated To Turn the
Yamuna Water Blue for the poor and needy who have no access to
municipal or bottled water.
