ROW-Yamuna Foundation for Blue Water

Note: All Blue Yamuna team members are participating in the Yamuna Cleanup activities on their personal time and contributing their personal funds. Not a single volunteer of the Yamuna Foundation is receiving any compensation, rather they are paying towards the cause. They are conducting the activities in compliance with applicable regulations (US 18 U.S.C. ? 207 , 5 CFR ?2635, and others; India - IPC for Ethics) in their respective countries. They are dedicated To Turn the Yamuna Water Blue for the poor and needy who have no access to municipal or bottled water.

Field Workshops/Training for Protecting the Yamuna River

Preliminary Announcement (To Be Updated Periodically)

The Following Field Workshops and Training are planned by a joint Potomac-Yamuna Team from US consisting of Mr. Dick Lahn, Mr. Ram Koduri, Mr. Subijoy Dutta, and Mr. Sumit Dutta from the ROW Foundation and Ms. Ginny Harris from the Alice Ferguson Foundation:

• One Workshop/Seminar is being arranged on December 28, 2009 in Hyderabad Area along with a Musi River Walk
• Three Field Workshops are being arranged during January 12-14, 2010 in the Agra Area along with Yamuna River Walks
• One Field Workshop/Watershed Reconnaissance is being planned tentatively for January 17, 2010 in the Panipath/Karnal Area

These ~4-hour workshops are designed to train the LOCAL communities and students where the workshops will be held. A certificate will be provided to each participant by the Rivers of the World Foundation after successful completion of the workshop.

There is no cost to attend the workshop, but you must Register online (below) or onsite to attend the workshop.
